Do people REALLY want an objective media?

Fox news says they are fair and balanced when they are clearly biased towards the right. CBS, ABC, NBC don't say anything but they seem to have subtly institutionalized a left-of-center way of thinking (CBS mostly). CNN seems to have embraced a slightly more liberal attitude. NPR much more so. The only news program I've seen unbiased is PBS - it has the most information but it is the most dull and gets the lowest ratings!! So do people really just want to get the news from their own point of view? Or do they truly want objectivity? Is objectivity boring?
