Dream help?

I am trying to figure out a dream that was crazy. I had a dream that I was locked up in a apartment and I couldn't get out. So everywhere i turned there was no exit. When i turned again I saw a snake come out of a box. So I stuck a broom in the snake mouth and it wasn't able to bite me and the snake shot venom at me. Can some one please tell me what this dream means. Thank You
